Works with expired date   (7th January 2010)

Check on the multilingual dictionary: the first part of the dictionary has been completed, though there are still problems with some Bulgarian words. As regards the section in English, the sound will be added in the end together with the second part of the dictionary.

Checking and evaluation of the common part of the  questionnaire on freedom of conscience and religion

Not all the partners have provided the results of the questionnaire yet; moreover, some results are not meaningful because the number of the students involved is too low;  S. Angelo will provide results together with the school part questionnaire.

Checking of “ Different ways of expressing freedom of conscience and religion” – international facts – in the past

Checking of “ Different ways of expressing freedom of conscience and religion” – national facts – in the past

All the schools have sent the documents except for Berlin, Pavlikeni and S.Angelo in Vado.

The documents  sent by the school are checked from the website: Berlin will send the work by the end of January (national and international facts); Pavlikeni will send all the documents in a week; the files from S.Angelo are provided on site.

Works with future deadline

Discussion on the work about:

“Movements and people in defense of freedom of conscience and religion” – now

(deadline: mid of April 2010)

The following questions are suggested as a plan for the single reports:

1)    What is the situation of freedom of religion and of conscience in my country? Schools from the same countries might share the work (about 1 page, Times New Roman 12)

2)    What is the situation of freedom of religion and of conscience In Europe?(a document is shown by Ivo)  (about 1 page, Times New Roman 12)

3)    What is the situation of freedom of religion and of conscience  In the world? (visiting the IPHR website might be very useful, it  is the website on Human rights, by the EU and UN)  ( about 1 page, Times New Roman 12)

4)    Choose a country where freedom of religion and conscience is in danger and study the case. (Italy has chosen Saudi Arabia; anyway, it is important not to give out the same documents). On www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/irf/2008 you can find further materials   (about 1 page, Times New Roman 12)

School  part of the questionnaire on freedom of conscience and religion (deadline: mid of April 2010)

All the partners agree on the total number of 6 questions: it is underlined that they have to be about knowledge, not feelings. They should be about freedom of conscience and religion, either in the form of open questions or multiple choice and  fill-in grids, depending on the students’ ages.

Check on multilingual dictionary (second part – selection of the final list of words and idioms)  (deadline: mid of April 2010)What about anticipating the deadline?

The deadline is anticipated to the  end of February for all the partners except Yalova (1st week of march): as for the 1st part, all the mp3 files together with the translation and sounds will have to be sent to Christian. The list of suggested words from the partners is then thoroughly checked, so that a list of 49 words is obtained.

Check on the didactical path, 2nd year, through the static website: work from teachers and students will have to be uploaded with great care ( new deadline: beginning of May 2010). This task is particularly relevant  since it will be evaluated in detail by Amnesty International.

Roles and tasks of the associated partners for the second year of the project: all the partners are asked to send materials about the associated partners.

Thursday  14th  January 2010

Checking  the common questionnaire for the project evaluation: from 24 to 12 questions  (deadline: end of May 2010)

Ivo invites all the partners to visit the forum and take part in the discussions, as it is part of the application form and contract.

The questions are then taken from the Eun community forum and all the partners discuss on which questions should be skipped; the following 14 questions are saved:

EVALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE FOR  THE COMENIUS PARTNERSHIP “OMAC”

The form is anonymous, and should be filled in by each school partner  participating in the Comenius Multilateral Partnership “OMAC”. The evaluation rates should be previously discussed among the teachers  and should represent the common opinion of the partner. The results of all form ratings will be discussed during the final conference of Targu Jiu.

Evaluation scale:

1 – nothing/very bad;                     2 – somewhat;                   3  average;                          4 – good/well;                           5 – strong/excellent;

1)    Were the partners’ tasks and activities  clear and monitored?

2)    Were the international meetings  held as planned?

3)    Did the quality of the outputs prepared by each partner suite the  partnership needs and the project goals?

4)    Did the partnership  facilitate experience exchanges?

5)    What was the degree of communication among the partners like?

6)    Were the  Omac  dynamic and  static website  as well as the forum useful?

7)    Were the partners  equally active and collaborative?

8)    Was the contribution to the project from everyone  encouraged?

9)    Were foreign  languages and ICT skills improved?

10)  Was  knowledge about partner countries and cultures fostered?

11)  Was cooperation with other local institution or organizations

           improved?

    12)  Did the partners have enough  time for the project work?

    13)  Were the funds fair and adequate?

    14)  What is the degree of overall satisfaction with the project?

Using the dynamic and static websites: Christian suggests everyone should contribute to the site by means of uploadings from their activities, articles from local papers, news.
