COMMON GRID TO ANALYSE A FILM

Everything you see in a film is the director’s decision. It is very important, then, that you understand how the director has transferred his ideas onto the screen. In order to do this, here is a list of things to pay attention to:

1.       Basic information about the film: director;   title;   characters, production,  year of production.

2.    where the film is set and in what period

3.    short summary of  the plot

4.    things that particularly impressed you about the film

5.    the music: does it convey specific themes/messages?

6.    what is the message of the film and what did you learn from it?

7.    what would you change in the film?
