At the Warsaw grave of  Jerzy Popiełuszko

 

 

On 19^th April 2010 a group of 6 students and 3 teachers from  school

Zespół Szkół Nr 2 im. E. Kwiatkowskiego w Dębicy, visited the grave of  priest Jerzy Popiełuszko in Warsaw Saint Kostka’s Church Cemetery.

 

By burning symbolic candles,  the teachers and students taking part in the EU project Comenius 1 ‘ OMAC’-  the main subject in the second year of activities is freedom of conscience and religion,  honoured  priest Jerzy Popiełuszko  the freedom of religion fighter in Communist Poland.
